Family Law

Family Law refers to the statutes, court decisions, and provisions of the federal and state constitutions that relate to family relationships, rights, duties, and finances.

When people think of family law, they think of divorce. This area of our practice deals with divorce, as well as some areas that may not immediately come to mind: alimony, adoption, child custody between unwed parents, child support, equitable distribution, termination of parental rights, DSS, guardianships, just to name a few.

We know these are emotionally-charged issues. That is why Chris and the entire staff make it a priority to be good listeners; sensitive to the situation.
