1. How are fees determined?
Fees are determined on a case by case basis, after giving consideration to (a). the type of case, (b). the complexity of the case, (c). the amount of time and expertise to effectively handle the case.
  2. Do you charge a consultation fee?
Generally, yes and it is $300.00. Our work actually begins with the initial consultation and involves the giving of advice and answering questions. “Time and advice are a lawyer's stock and trade” (Abe Lincoln).
  3. What can I expect when I come in for an appointment?
Every effort will be made to make your wait as short and pleasant as possible. Please understand that we may be required to attend court and an appointment may be affected. Generally, appointments range in time from 30 to 60 minutes, with initial consultation lasting as long as 90 minutes, but any session may last longer if necessary. You can expect our personal attention. Specifically, you will engage in a face to face conversation with Chris. You will have the opportunity to tell your story, ask questions, and share your concerns. Family members are welcome at appointments for input and support. For us, it’s about developing a trusting relationship with each client because we care.
