Christopher S. Stepp graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1988 and from Campbell University School of Law in 1991.  Since 1991 he has been in private practice in Hendersonville and has handled cases involving the following: 1. Personal Injury, including automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, dog bites, wrongful-death and medical malpractice.  2. Criminal Defense, including murder, assault, rape, sex offense, drugs, larceny, breaking and entering, habitual felon, DWI, death by motor vehicle and motor vehicle violations.  3. Family and Domestic, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoptions, termination of parental rights, alimony, post separation support, equitable distribution, property settlement agreements, separation agreements, and pre-marital agreements.  4. Civil litigation, including contracts, landlord-tenant, estates, will-caveats, trusts, partition of real property and dissolution of LLCs and corporations.  Christopher practiced law with his father, W. Harley Stepp, Jr. and his Firm, Stepp, Groce and Associates.  His father retired in 2000.  Christopher has served as State Bar Councilor for Judicial District 42, representing Henderson, Polk and Transylvania Counties and as Trustee and Vice-Chairman of the Blue Ridge Community College Board of Trustees.  He also served on the Board of Directors for the Governor’s Western Residence Association. Christopher is a member of the Henderson County Bar Association, The North Carolina Bar Association and North Carolina Advocates For Justice.  Chris is looking forward to many more years of helping people, and serving as their advocate.
